Who we are

Couture Consultancy was founded by Katja Noschis Delaloye in 2015 in New York, it seats is based in Frankfurt since May 2022.

The company tailors its services to the need of each Fashion and Lifestyle Entrepreneurs and is specialized in: brand positioning, marketing strategy, website mock-up, collection planning, US & Europe brand expansion and brand launch.

The company offers an initial free consultation to all designers interested in its services. Couture Consultancy is dedicated to achieving the best possible results and strongly believes in long term partnerships. Values such as sustainability, online relevance and inclusivity have always been at the heart of the work Couture Consultancy does. 

The company was based at Spring Place in New York’s Fashion Weeks Headquarter from 2018 to 2020.

Experience

From 2006 to 2009, Katja Noschis Delaloye worked as a fashion buyer and manager for Bon Génie-Grieder, Switzerland’s most popular luxury department store. Later, she moved to London and was interviewed and hired by Natalie Massenet: the founder of the Net A Porter Group, to become the Lead Buyer to launch MR PORTER. During the pre launch phase, she did research and worked on the positioning of the brand by doing a comprehensive market study from the luxury menswear online landscape. Once the brand attributes were defined, she curated the initial launch offering for MR PORTER and bought 80% single handedly 80% of the launch offer, among other brand she bought; Balenciaga, lanvin, Gucci, Paul Smith, J.Crew and Rag&Bone. She then worked as a Buying manager for the Tailoring and Classic Accessories department for three and a half year.

Fashion as a passion

From age 15, when Katja started modeling in Switzerland, she felt herself very much at ease in the fashion creative and diverse environment. She knew since that moment on, that she would work in that field and never changed her mind.

After getting her Masters in Diplomacy in Geneva, she studied Fashion Management at SDA Bocconi in Milan. During that year of study, she learned the tools to conceptualise the fashion business to be later applied to real life cases. In 2005 she also worked as the Assistant to the head of Communication at Costume National for 6 months.

New York achievements 2015-2020

After moving to New York in 2015, Katja decided to start her own consultancy company and focus on coaching and helping designers reach their full potential.

Since then she has given talks on different aspects of the business to fashion entrepreneurs and designers and worked on the launch and development of numerous brands. The office of Couture Consultancy was based at Spring Place, New York Fashion Week’s headquarter from 2018 to 2020. Katja Noschis Delaloye coached a pool of 10 designers for Dreams NY to be ready for Tranoi Richelieu for the SS19 edition, she managed the show-room during the 5 days of the trade-show.

Couture Consultancy and Maker’s Row started a collaboration in 2020. Katja Noschis Delaloye was one of the Top Tier expert for their new platform, Embark.Live. The platform connects entrepreneurs and small businesses to business experts and consultants.

The Listener Frankfurt

From January 2021 to March 2022, Katja Noschis Delaloye worked as the Online Strategy and Marketing Manager for The Listener Concept Store and their soon to open LSTNR Website.

During her time there she defined the positioning and product category strategy for the soon to open website. She also defined the marketing strategy for its promotion and worked as a creative director for the editorial and product image production.

She learned during that time to work in a german Corporate environment.

Frankfurt achievements 2022-2024

Katja Noschis Delaloye registered Couture Consultancy in March 2022 in Frankfurt and has since then organized Transforming Frankfurt Fashion, an event that was part of the official Frankfurt Fashion Week, and worked with numerous designers, including Quartier Frau, Creätr, Christin Fabian Cashmere, and St Beex. She also organizes seminars and workshops with the Start-Up Accelerator Center, Gründer Zentrum, Hessen Design, and Jumpp. She has recently been appointed as a Communication and Marketing University Lecturer at the Akademie Mode Schule in Wiesbaden.

Partners and Collaborators

Peter Sun

Peter Sun is a fashion enthusiast, photographer and graphic designer. His deep passion for math and everything tech led him very naturally to work also on UX design. 

While studying art and Design at University of Offenbach, he also worked for the Listener Concept store in Frankfurt, where he met Katja. Prior to that he worked for Hilo Hilo Corporate Design agency. 

In 2014 he won the IF International Design Award in Münich. Peter on top of being an excellent photographer, graphic designer and website designer is also the easiest and nicest person to work with. 

Christine Fehrenbach

Christine Fehrenbach is a designer and photographer. She is the founder of Christine Fehrenbach Consulting, which develops holistic brand concepts and accompanies companies and institutions through the entire transformation process from positioning to communication, design, sustainable products and implementation.

Christine is is also Chairwoman of the Board of Hessen Design e.V., active as a jury member in various design and fashion competitions, as well as a lecturer for sustainable fashion and communication and a speaker. Until 2016, she was head of brand, communication and assortment at Manufactum GmbH and responsible for strategic development and transformation.

Christine is the initiator of Transforming Frankfurt Fashion, she met Katja during the January 2022 edition, they later, decided to collaborate for the SS22 edition.

Martin Wilhelm

Martin Wilhelm has a great passion for fashion business and is a holistic business strategist and synergetic management organizational developer. He founded his own consulting concept “Prinzip ZusammenWachsen”, which enables companies to transform and grow the business together as a team in a sustainable and synergetic way.

Martin worked for a long time in the fashion industry and consumer goods sector in various leadership positions of: strategic business development, Merger & Acquisitions and Organizational Development. He owns several diplomas, certificates, and certifications from universities, official educational institutions, and the chamber of commerce. With his expertise he owns a good understanding of both financial numbers and company structures and ambitions.

Nayara Pena

Nayara Peña, is a Copywriter, blogger and Social Media Professional. She has a deep passion for fashion trends and a solid knowledge in social media management.

She currently works as the Social Media Manager for Couture Consultancy, as a Creative Copywriter, as an Intern at TheCUBE and as a blogger.

With a Degree in Communication, Entertainment & Marketing, she has also completed several internships in media companies such as: La Razon and Ginger Studios (both located in Madrid), where she has gained field experience and developed her network.
